When Saul encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus he was confronted with his sinful depravity.  After that encounter Saul repented and put his trust in the Savior.  For someone as hard-hearted as Saul to come repent was no small task.  Repentance and faith comes ONLY through the Grace of God.  We have no good in us and thus wouldn’t seek out God.  How amazing is it then that He has sought us out first.
